Ich bin gerade krank, das bedeutet für mich, ich verbringe Zeit mit mir, meinen Gedanken und einem Buch. Das Buch, das ich gerade lese, heißt 4000 Wochen, ist kurzweilig geschrieben, viel wusste ich aber auch schon bzw. es deckt sich mit meiner Meinung. Darum soll es hier aber nicht gehen. Maybe you’ve already heard about the right-wing propaganda tactic of “flooding the zone with shit”. It is especially used in the US these days. For example, by the Trump administration if he sings so many executive orders that you can’t keep up. It’s a tactic to overwhelm you. To make you freeze by the avalanche of competing stories you read and want to act on. And they know that many of the stories will get debunked or overturned by a court. Dieser Text ist mal wieder ein Toot der erst zu einem Thread und dann zu einem Blogartikel eskaliert ist. Wie immer ist die aktuelle PhilosophyTube Folge sehr zu empfehlen, aber sie dreht auch einen Punkt um, den ich selbst schon öfter in meinen Texten gemacht habe. Ich habe öfter gesagt, wir müssen es für Leute bequemer machen, unseren linken Ansichten zu folgen als denen der Konservativen oder Rechten. Trotz allem habe ich mich oft gefragt: „Warum machen die das? Sehen sie nicht, dass es zu ihrem eigenen Nachteil ist?“ … »
